Hi everyone! My name is Ryan, and I am headed into my third year of BDC. I am super excited to help lead some events this year alongside Ava and Rinsy, such as the welcome week social, biochem formal and end of year bonfire! As your VP socials, we want to provide you guys with breaks from school (dont get me started on genetics) and a chance to connect with your biochem classmates! There is gonna be lots of opportunities to connect with the BBSS community such as our own intramurals team (join upp), spikeball, and many more special events. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to reach out with suggestions! A little bit about me is that I am a huge basketball fan (unfortunately not a raptors fan) and you can find me at open runs at DBAC almost every day. Hi everyone! My name is Max, and I am currently in my second year of Honours Biochemistry. I am incredibly excited to be one of your VP Socials for this year! As one of your VP socials, I want to deliver a fun, out-of-class environment to foster a community with my fellow biochemers. I know all of us might be struggling with the upcoming orgo midterm, but rest assured, once that is over, we have a lot of fun events planned to look forward to. Hi everyone! My name is Harane and I am in my third year of the Biochemistry Co-op program. I’m very excited to be one of the VP Brotiens this year and I look forward to working with everyone on our amazing team! This year, I am excited to continue supporting incoming second-year Biochemistry students and ensure the Broteins Mentorship program thrives in helping all of you on your journey. It can be challenging entering a new specialization and navigating academics and personal life, but we are here to help! We have a lot of fun activities planned this year, so be sure to join us throughout the year! Outside of school, I love spending time with friends and family, and I love traveling. I’m a big music person and enjoy playing the piano and dancing, you will often find me at a concert, or at least talking about one! Hey everyone! My name is Myra and I'm in my third year of Core Biochemistry. I am so excited to be working with Maurice as one of your VP Internals for the 2024-2025 school year! I'll be handling much of the organizational and background work to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch. When I am not studying or engaging in some sort of extracurricular activity, you can find me chilling with my friends, cooking, catching up on shows or sleeping (my favourite activity). I may or may not have a coffee addiction, and I have an adorable dog (my brother really) named Mylo. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and making this year a fantastic one together :)

Hi everyone! I’m Michelle, and I’ll be one of your VP Academics with Laura this year! We're looking forward to providing academic and research support to help you all have memorable and fulfilling undergraduate experiences, and reach your goals. I’m going into my 3rd year of the Core Biochemistry program, and have a passion for music. I love playing the guitar, piano, and alto saxophone. When I have the chance, I also enjoy thrifting for vintage clothes and exploring cafes in search of the best iced matcha latte (since I’m not a big coffee drinker). Hey hey everyone!! My name is Laura Reeves, this is my first year on BBSS and I'm incredibly excited to be working with the team! I'm going into my third year of Biochemistry Co-op, looking forward to the adventures this year will bring. In my spare time I enjoy reading, mountain biking, gymnastics, and volleyball. A go-to stress reliever is baking so if you need some good chocolate chip cookie recipes let me know! You'll often find me studying outside on BSB field, drinking a much needed study coffee :)

I handle everything finance within BBSS; this includes managing our budget so all our events can happen! I love baking and all desserts (you'll almost always find a cake in my fridge), and absolutely love the sun and sunny weather. Can't wait to meet you guys :)
Hii I’m Bailey and I’m going into my fourth year of biochemistry (biomedical research specialization). I’ll be on the VP Fundraising team this year and I’m excited for all of the new and returning events we have planned! Apart from the BBSS, I spend my time volunteering with SWHAT, playing volleyball, and drinking lots of coffee. Also, if you ever need to reach me, there’s always a 50% chance that I’m in MUSC.
